Thanks to our good friends, we had a holy week to remember. Started our adventure in Tagaytay where we had time to relax and gather our strength for endurance-demanding Visita Iglesias pilgrimage in the oldest churches in the province of Laguna.
The event made me update my blog to mark an important milestone of my daughter graduating from her Preparatory education. She claimed the first honor award together with two more awards namely, 1st Runner Up - Inter-branch Math Contest, and 1st Runner-up - Inter-branch Reading Contest.
Photo taken with one of her best friends and fellow contest winner and Spelling Contest champion. :D
Japan trip: Day 6. This is one of the highlights of my trip to Japan, a visit to family in Sendai, Miyagi Province. For me, the place is synonymous to good and happy people and great food! Freshly picked strawberries and Fuji apples during winter up to early spring. Expect lunch to be served with excellent quality seafood. Miyagi Prefecture is known for big, meaty and flavorful oysters!
Japan trip: Day 5. This is my first attempt to create a composite photo. I was lucky enough to have a willing subject on this winter morning day in Japan.
Japan trip: Day 4. It's the coldest day so far in the last 4 days. Snowing in many parts of Japan today but not in Hitachi City. However, the temperature here is pegged at 1 deg. celcius during the day time. Despite the cold wind, I managed to venture outside and take this photo of a lighthouse.
